Please pray with us The mission is currently trying to work with 4 boys that God has put on our hearts and who are potential candidates for the full-time residential rehabilitation programme at El Shaddai when the construction of the centre is complete. All of the boys come from dysfunctional families. They struggle with school studies and have a history of psychological and emotional hurt. We have been working with some of the boys on an individual basis, offering times of one-to-one educational studies and craft activities with support ministry and counselling. Spiritually, there is certainly a great battle going on over the life of each boy and we know that many breakthroughs and victories can be won through strategic prayer. We have chosen the month of July for this prayer focus as the missions children's programmes take a break during July, so that time can be given to planning and preparation for the second half of the year. So this is a good time to have a prayer focus for the continuation of the work. The prayer focus will be divided into four weeks each commencing on the first Sunday in July. We would like to invite you to pray with us each Sunday and through the week as follows:-

Week 1.
* Please pray for Francisco,
he is 11 years old. He lives with his father and has no contact with his mother. He restarted school again this year but still goes onto to the streets at times. * Please pray for inspiration for the weekly programmes with Franciso and the other boys, especially that God will continue to minister into their lives through this work.

Week 2.
* Please pray for Daniel,
he is 11 years old. His parents are divorced and he lives with his Father but is often left in the care of his older brother. Daniel dropped out of school in April and has, from time to time, runaway from home to spend time on the streets.
* Please pray too, for the resources to complete the construction of El Shaddai so that the full-time rehab work can commence.

Week 3.
* Please pray for Anderson,
he is 11 years old. He has virtually lost all contact with his family who live in Macapa. In recent months we have seen a change and improvement in his behaviour and he has expressed a desire to leave the streets but he rarely attends the weekly programmes.
* Also, please pray for a team to staff this rehabilitation ministry, ideally 6 people are needed, both Brazilian and international with a balance of gifts and abilities.

Week 4.
* Please pray for Wanderson,
he is 13 years old. He lives with an elderly sick grandmother and has little contact with his mother. He is in his second year at school but behavioural problems. During the past he has spent much time on the streets and is potentially at great risk. * Please pray for the legalization process of the El Shaddai home, this can be a lengthy process with much bureaucracy. Please pray that God will provide the right people to help and the process will be smooth and simple.
