Simon trained as a financial administrator and has done a two year couse at Regents Theology College earning a certificate of Theology in 2000.

He and his wife, Davinia, led an Impact team from England to Macapa in 1999 and joined the Macapa team in July 2000.

Prior to this they were an important part of their home church in Blackheath, West Midlands for several years.

Davinia is a qualified nurse as well as having a certificate of Theology from the Regents Theology college.

She and Simon have been married since 1993.
